When it is recommended to use a Latch Lock?
GS.226616 can be used in 3-plate molds up to 500 x 500.
GS.368619 can be used in 3- plate molds up to 800 x 800.

How many parts should a tool have?
CUMSA recommends using 4 units in each mold, which are evenly spaced and symmetrical.
Can the GS’s function as a double ejector?
We don’t recommend it, the movement of the ejection plates is harsh and suffer a high load, due to all the mechanisms attached; contraction of the plastic parts, ejectors, lifters, stripper plates, etc. .. .
What is the maximum opening and closing speed of the tool?
The maximum speed is 30 meters per minute.
Are there any important application details?
It is essential that the leader pins are in the leader bushings before the GS closes. Please see technical drawing on catalogue page.

Yes, but the area where the screws and dowel pins are applied isn’t.
