The most complete unit within CUMSA’s modular vacuum range: designed to remove air completely so that the mold’s cavity can fill up without any obstacles in a uniform and quick way.
Generates vacuum and blow-off through a single channel. It operates using only compressed air.
Powered by 6BAR compressed air, the system can generate both vacuum (up to 60 L/min) and blow-off functions. This provides an efficient solution for air extraction before and during injection, ensuring complete evacuation of trapped air from the cavity.
The blow-off function also reduces maintenance on ejectors and gas vents while supporting pneumatic part ejection.
Four adjustable vacuum levels (-600, -700, -800, -900mbar), an integrated electro valve, and a built-in vacuum meter allow precise control and automated operation.
Main benefits during the process:
Reduces cycle times and increases production, lowers injection pressure and temperature, improves injection parameters, minimizes scrap rates, and delivers significant energy savings with much lower consumption than traditional vacuum pumps.
Main benefits on the plastic part:
Ensures perfect cavity filling and enhanced part quality, with superior visual appearance, uniform color, and high dimensional stability. Eliminates gas bubbles and diesel effect (burn marks), while improving mechanical strength and overall consistency.
- By the VV-SET and through the clearance of the ejectors at the same time.
- Only through the VV-SET.
- Only through the clearance of the ejectors.
- One to control the VV-SET. Is must open and close the pneumatic piston before injection. It has to be synchronized with the machine regarding the injection cycle.
- Another for the vacuum through the ejectors. Depending on the size of the ejectors and the clearance on them, the circuit should be opened and closed, if there is a lot of vacuum made through the ejector the plastic part can become deformed when ejecting. If the ejectors are small or the clearance of them is small, vacuum can be made throughout the whole cycle, no need to close the air circuit, it can be open always.
No, because this would damage the internal components of the system.
