The unit operates through a pneumatically actuated air valve that extracts a significantly larger volume of air directly from the cavity, instead of relying solely on ejector pin clearances.
This allows the system to achieve cavity back pressure levels of up to -920mbar and vacuum flow rates of up to 60L/min, improving air evacuation efficiency and process stability in demanding molding applications.

Is it possible to shorten the stroke/opening of the VV-SET, which is of 2.50mm (0.098”)?
Yes, by cutting the tube shorter, this will decrease the opening.
Is it possible to machine the top of the valve in order to shape it to the core geometry?
