The CUMSA DZ External Delayed Synchronizer controls the timing between mold opening and ejector plate movement, allowing the ejection sequence to be adapted to the specific requirements of the mold.
During the initial opening phase, the DZ keeps the ejector plates in position. Once the mold reaches its defined opening position, the plates are released and can begin their movement. This makes the DZ particularly useful for molds requiring a specific opening and ejection sequence.
The DZ is compatible with the four EZ system sizes, with shaft diameters of 14, 20, 32 and 50mm, providing a flexible solution for different mold configurations.
